DPSA Deputy Director Support Services And Administration Job Description
SALARY : R744 255 per annum, (A portion of the package can be structured according
to the individual’s personal needs)
CENTRE : Tygerberg Hospital, Parow Valley
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate 3-year Diploma or Degree.
Experience: Extensive appropriate experience. Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB). Competencies (knowledge/skills): Be able
to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western
Cape. Computer literacy. Knowledge of support services and logistics.
DUTIES : Effective management of support services and logistics at a large, specialised
hospital. Overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of Support
Services which include Administration, Transport, Telecommunication,
Registry and Messenger Service, Security, Linen Services, Waste
Management, Reprographics, Porter Services, Death Administration Office,
Creche, Cleaning Services, Contract Management, Accommodation, PCU and
Estate Management. Overall responsible for Food Services Units. Responsible
for disaster management planning and risk management analysis at TBH.
Analysis and Interpret information to ensure effective management.
Management of staff and contractors
